Joan Borysenka weaves together a deep understanding of psychology, somatics, and spirituality to help guide other people to find their bravery, resilience, and inner light. Joan Borsysenko the author of 17 books, including “It’s Not the End of World; Developing Resilience in Times of Change,” “A Woman’s Book of Life” and “Minding the Body, Mending the Mind.” She is one of the leading experts on stress, spirituality, and the mind-body connection. She holds a doctorate in Medical Sciences from Harvard Medical School, and is a licensed clinical psychologist. Joan is the co-founder and former director of the Mind-Body Clinic Programs at the Beth Isreal Deaconess Medical Center.
